Free Math Lessons
I’m a home school parent and finding good affordable tuition isn’t always easy.
Last year (2007) we embarked upon a course of tuition from Conquer Maths.
What stood out straight away from the 6 free lessons, was the informal style and can do attitude of the tutor.
The lessons were so easy to understand and boosted my children’s confidence along the way.
I set aside 2 hours per day for math study, as I felt it was a very important area and was pleasantly surprised when my children ( 11 and 13) asked if they could do more!
Obviously I encouraged them in their interest and happily they covered the entire curriculum in about 18 months.
Can you imagine the boost it gave them to have finished their math course so early and so easily?
Even algebra was presented in an easy to understand manner.
Among the many things that Conquer Maths does well is, (most importantly), it builds confidence and fosters an ” I can do this attitude”.
Every lesson can be repeated as many times as is necessary to achieve a good level of competence and full revision courses are included.
This year my 8 year old will start her Conquer Maths course and I know that she will benefit from it as much as her two brothers have.
Her studies will probably take a little longer as she is starting at an earlier age, but she is an eager and quick learner and bound to do well.
